Small Discoveries Preschool in Jersey City is family owned and built with love. Our center provides care for children three months to 5 years of age in the Hudson County area of New Jersey. Our child care center is a safe, nurturing and encouraging place. Parents enrolled with us can feel secure knowing that the well-being and healthy development of their young ones is of primary importance.

Small Discoveries Preschool was founded by the DeLeon family: Rodolfo, Maria, Nicholas and Veronika. Rodolfo and Maria De Leon came to the United States 35 years ago from Uruguay. Over the last 35 years our family has worked tremendously hard, and this center is the culmination of that hard work.

Veronika De Leon, Director of Small Discoveries, graduated with a BA in Education from New Jersey City University. Veronika is a visionary director who works tirelessly to ensure the uncompromising quality of our care. We are very proud of the premium childcare we are able to provide, from our family to yours.

We believe that our community gains strength through diversity, and not in spite of it. We are proud to run our center in Jersey City, a place with so many rich cultures and influences.
